Door Types

The sign products are double sided and are intended to install on the inside of your glass door on the glass itself.

The self-adhesive is set up so that both sides of the sign (the push and the pull) are installed on the inside of the premises away from the effects of weather and tampering.

Hinge-Inwards: If your door hinge is set up for the door to PUSH inwards as you enter your premises, then the right sign for you is a "Hinge-Inwards" sign. These types of doors are often seen in small retail outlets, restaurants and small take-away food outlets in the UK. Most small retail outlets in the UK are of this type.

Hinge-Outwards: If your door hinge is set up for the door to PULL outwards on to the street as you enter your premises, then the right sign for you is a "Hinge-Outwards" sign. These types of doors are often seen in schools and large retail outlets. Most retail outlets in USA and Canada are of this type. This type of door opens in the same direction as a Fire Exit door.

Are Your Doors "Hinge-Inwards" or "Hinge-Outwards"?
